Completing your Fronted Deposit application

Thank you for choosing to apply for a Fronted Deposit through Goodlord. The process should be quick and easy but here is a guide to help you if you get stuck.

Firstly we’ll ask for your personal details, ID and to connect your bank account. This is so we can check your eligibility for the Fronted Deposit and to verify your income and identity. If you would like to find out more about Open Banking and the companies we use to assess your application, click here.

Next we’ll ask you to tell us the details of the property you’re applying for through Goodlord and expected move in date. We’ll also need the bank account details to send your deposit. Don’t worry if you don't have these yet (you’ll get this information after you’ve been accepted for the property) you can tap ‘i'll add this later’ and return when you’re ready. We’ll still tell you if you’re approved for this amount even if you don’t complete this straight away.

We’ll let you know if you are approved for a Fronted Deposit or contact you for any additional information.

Once you've been accepted for the property

Congrats on being accepted for a new property! Now it’s time to send your Fronted Deposit to Goodlord.

In your Goodlord account you’ll see a ‘Move in monies’ breakdown showing you the amount you need to pay, this will include your deposit and first month’s rent and will deduct any holding deposit you’ve already paid. Fronted can only pay your Deposit amount.

Though the first month’s rent and deposit are listed as a combined total, you can pay it separately. You will need to use the same reference number for both payments to ensure the amounts go to the same place.

Select payment method > Bank transfer and select that the transfer is not from an account in your name (screenshot below)

A drop-down of ‘details of the account holder’ will appear. Here are the details to input and submit.

Title: Mr

First name: Fronted

Last name: Limited

Phone: +442038702830

Address: Fronted, The Fisheries, 1 Mentmore Terrace, London, E8 3PN

Once you’ve submitted the details, there will be a summary page of all the information including the account number, sort code and the unique reference.

Keep your Goodlord window open as you’ll need to enter the bank details and unique reference for us to send your Fronted Deposit.

Sending your Fronted Deposit

Now you’re ready to send your Fronted Deposit, we’ll need you to enter the bank details and unique reference you just received. To do this, go back to your application at get.fronted.rent/application and enter the Goodlord bank account information in the ‘your new tenancy’ section, continue and review your tenancy details.

We’ll check the Goodlord account details and you’ll receive an email from us when they have been approved. You can then send the deposit 🎉

Remember you’ll need to pay your balance (this should be the first month’s rent minus the holding deposit) to Goodlord.

You should receive confirmation from your letting agent via Goodlord that your payment has been received. Contact your letting agent if you have not received confirmation of the payment within 24 hours.
